Vasile Cipcigan

Mountain Climber

Vasile Cipcigan is a mountain rescuer, a passionate altitude climber and a loving husband. Not only is he continuing his education by being a second year physical therapy student but he is also motivating people to workout as an outdoor trainer. In his free time he likes to spend time with his dog and participate to marathons and ultramarathons.  He’s been challenging high altitudes since 2008 – the result: after having ascended Aconcagua, Denali, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Mont Blanc, in 2016 he became the first mountain climber from Cluj-Napoca to summit Mount Manaslu (8158 m) without the need of oxygen supply and without the guidance of shepards.
